Michael Adams/Colin Adams, the Austria and Black Forest tour 2007.

After a visit to the 2006 Birmingham motorcycle and scooter show and looking at the many stalls we both came to the "RideWithUs" stall and were greeted with a warm hello from Petar and Slavica. Upon looking at the many photos and information on their European motorcycle tours and asking a few questions we both decided to take a brochure to look at when we arrived home. We both had never rode a motorcycle abroad before and was a bit nervous considering we are more weekend riders and my farther had only took up motor bikes recently upon passing his full motorcycle test. A tour abroad had never crossed our minds but the more we looked at the brochure and talked about it the more appealing it became with the knowledge it was fully guided we decided on the Austria and Black Forest tour and what a treat we where in for!

As the holiday drew nearer we both needed luggage but luckily e-bay came to the rescue with some good second hand luggage at a great price. Finally the day of departure arrived and after a short ride to Folkestone we meet up with all the rest of the group including Petar and Slavica. From the start you realise how friendly everybody is with all different ages and how much of a social type of holiday these tours are. We boarded the Euro Star train and after half hour arrived in France. After we departed the train Petar made sure every body waited till the last bike departed from the train and we soon got on our way. The good thing about Ride With Us no one gets left behind. We both did not know what to expect with the hotels but got a pleasant surprise every time we stooped as Petar and Slavica had found the best hotels in each area for staying. Each country seemed to get better than the previous but the grand finally for me was Austria with its mountains and waterfalls falling in to sweeping valleys and the lovely twisting roads. Another high light of the holiday was the mountain pass Stelvio my farther was unsure weather to ride it or not but with some coaxing from me and Petar decided to have a go and took each hairpin slow and steady and reached the top and was greeted with snow and a cup of tea before a steady descant .As the holiday neared the end and we started our return leg home my farther wanted a keep sake of the holiday and after a visit to a German cuckoo clock manufacturer decided to purchase one and with a bit of re-organising we managed to fit it into my top box. The cuckoo clock now hangs on the wall and brings a smile to my face each time it cuckoos.

The holiday experience with Ride With Us was excellent and Petar and Slavica have really put a lot of time and effort into making sure every person on their holidays enjoys them selves safely. I and my farther enjoyed it so much we have already booked the next trip with them and are bringing along my brother in law as well.
